What's on

Just (after) lunch

just lunch 29_04.png

Our most regular meetings are Just Lunches. We meet on Friday at 2pm at Woodies church to study the Bible, pray and learn from people who are realising God's vision in our city and world.

This spring term, our theme is listening - to others and most importantly to God. We'll talk about the theology of justice, lament and more.

Sustainable development book club

Our biweekly book club is back in a new location (the SU living room) and new time (11-12.30 on Saturdays). We'll be continuing to delve into the topic of sustainable development by reading When Helping Hurts. Scroll back to find the Instagram videos to find out more!

Degree tea

Ooooh, new event. We'll be meeting once a month on a Monday at 5pm in the SU living room to end our working day by sharing the ways that justice intersects with our degrees. In our work we can lose track of where God is, but His plans are so much bigger than we remember, and this is a chance to recognise God's vision for justice in all our lives and careers. We'll provide the cake, you just need to bring a cup for your tea!

Restored conference

A conference which aims to equip Christians in Bristol to be actively involved in tackling domestic abuse in the church. Organised in partnership with Restored, the charity which works alongside churches to end violence against women.

Saturday 12th March at Alma church; Sunday 13th at Elemental café Stokes Croft.
