WWF have a free app called Giki where you can scan food barcodes and it will give you an instant idea of ethical & sustainability info of each product.

Post Punk Kitchen - by US-based Isa Chandra Moskowitz, if you like comfort food this is a good shout
Aine Carlin - bit more fancy food but her book The New Vegan is really good and includes some lifestyle tips as well as recipes
Easy vegan brownie recipe | Jamie Oliver vegan recipes - I usually substitute pecans for walnuts as they are cheaper. You really can't go wrong with this recipe as it contains shedloads of chocolate and sugar (fairtrade obvs) (disclaimer: this is not the most nutritious thing you can eat!)
